Comparison between PDISv1 and PDISv2 Diagnostician Module

For PDISv2 click on 'Sample Check In' under Diagnostics : <Lab Name> menu.

 

 

 

 

  1. By default it will show the active lab name. In this laboratory it will check in the sample. You can change the active directory by clicking on icon edit. After that it will check in the sample to the new lab.
  2. Select the lab form from the list.
  3. If the sample is submitted by the submitter, select the request site. Select the 'Submitter Account' for Check In With and select the name of the submitter from 'Submitter Account' drop down list.
  4. If sample is submitted by the new contact, select 'New Contact' radio button for Check In With. Then go to tab 'Create New Contact'. Enter the information for the new contact and click on icon for adding the contact for the sample.
  5. If sample is submitted by an existing contact, select 'Existing Contact' radio button for Check In With. Then go to tab 'Select Contact'. Click on icon for selecting that contact for the sample.
  6. If the sample is old sample, want to enter the old sample in to PDIS system, click on check box 'Back Date Samples'. Then enter the 'Internal Lab Number' and 'Date Submitted'.
  7. Click on icon to complete the check in process.

 

 

 

 

Go through all the required tasks on left hand side one by one to process the sample further.

 

 

 

Submitter                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

 

This will show the selected submitter for the sample. In this example it is 'John Smith'.

If you want to change the submitter, you can either 'Browse submitter directory' or 'Laboratory contact directory'.

To send an email to submitter of the sample, click on icon to open a message box. After typing the message, click on send button to send an email.

All email correspondence is saved. You can check all the correspondence under task 'View Correspondence'

 

 

Contacts                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

 

To add new contact click on 'New Contact' link and after entering the information regarding new contact click on icon to save the new contact for the sample.

To add an existing contact, click on 'Laboratory contact directory' and click on icon to save the existing contact for the sample.

 

 

 

Transfer Sample to another laboratory from the same institute

 

 

To transfer the sample to another laboratory from the same institution, select the 'Transfer to Lab', 'Lab Form' and after entering the notes if required, click on 'Transfer Sample' button. This will transfer sample to another lab and will be removed from your queue of the samples.

For PDISv2 we have combined the general lab form and lab specific information under the same task.

 

 

After entering the general lab form information and lab specific form information, you can click on icon for saving the form information.

Click on  'Add New Image' button, then fill out the details and browse the image. Click on 'Submit' button to upload the image.

 

 

Click on 'New Image' link and then fill out the details. Browse and upload the image. Then click on to add the image for the sample.

 

 

 

Diagnosis                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

 

Click on 'Enter/Edit Diagnosis' button to enter or edit the diagnosis.

 

 

After entering host, pest, confidence levels and lab methods, click on 'Save and Close' button to save the diagnosis.

 

 

 

Click on 'New Diagnosis/ID' link to enter new diagnosis.

 

 

Click on icon to save the entered diagnosis, confidence levels and lab methods.

 

 

To edit the existing diagnosis click on   icon to open an interface for edit diagnosis.

 

Reports                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Click on 'Add Report' button under diagnosis tab.

 

 

To save report click on 'Save Report' Button or 'Save and Close' button

 

 

Click on 'New Diagnostic Report' to create a new report.

After writing the report, click on 'Save Report' button to save the report or click on icon to save the report and return to diagnostic dashboard.

 

 

After clicking on 'Print Preview' button, it will open a PDF with the preview of the report.

 

 

 

Invoice                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Add Charges

 

On billing tab you can add different charges by selecting the method name and click on 'Add' button.

 

 

After clicking on Invoices an 'Create New Invoice' you can add the charges for the different lab services.

 

 

Print Invoice

 

Clicking on 'Print' link in the Report and Invoices table, it will generate an invoice PDF.

 

 

Clicking on icon to print the invoice.

 

 

Payments

 

Click on 'Make Payment' button, enter the essential information and click on 'Pay' button to make a payment.

 

 

Click on 'Payment Details' tab or icon to go to payments. After entering the amount and selecting the payment information, click on to apply the payment towards that sample.

 

 

 

Diagnosticians / Consultants                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Select diagnostician from the drop down list or enter the advisory consultant. Click on 'Add Diagnostician/Consultant' to save.

 

 

Click on link 'New Diagnostician/Consultant' for adding a new diagnostician or advisory consultant. After selecting diagnosticians from the drop down list or entering the advisory consultant, click on icon to add the selected data.

 

 

Diagnostician comments                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Click on 'Add Comments' button for adding a new diagnostician comment. Then click on 'Add' to save the comment.

 

 

Click on 'New Diagnostician comments' link to enter the comments. After entering the comments click on icon to save the diagnostician comments.

 

 

NPDN Upload                                                                                                                                                                 (top)

 

There are tow ways you can upload data to NPDN.

For direct upload click on 'Send Data' Button.

 

 

For viewing the data and adding more data click on 'Preview and Send Data' button and then after entering the data, click on 'Send' button to send the data to NPDN Repository.

 

 

 

After clicking on 'Upload New/Edited Diagnosis' link it provides interface for entering Phase 2  data and uploading data. It will show the history of previously uploads.

 

 

After enabling check box 'Enable NPDN Optional fields and Phase 2 fields for uploading to NPDN Repository', it shows all other tabs for entering the Phase 2 data.

Clicking on icon it will save phase 1 and phase 2 data to PDIS database. It will not upload the data to NPDN.

To upload data to NPDN repository click on icon . This will save data to PDIS database and then upload it to NPDN repository.

 

 

 

Referrals                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Under 'Referral' tab, click on 'Send Referral' button to send the referral. After entering the data click on 'Submit' button to send the referral.

 

 

After clicking on 'Send Referral' link under 'Referrals' task it will provide an interface for sending the referral. After entering all the data click on 'Send Referral' button to send the referral.

 

 

 

View Correspondence                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

After clicking on 'View Correspondence' link at the top, it will show all the email correspondence.

 

 

 

Clicking on 'View Correspondence task it will show the history of all the email correspondences with submitter and clients.

 

 

clicking on icon you can see the detail correspondence. After viewing the message, you can click on 'Close' button

 

 

 

Replicate Current Sample                                                                                                                                                                  (top)

 

Click on 'Replicate this Sample' button.

 

 

Enter the information and then click on 'Next >>' button to enter the field IDs and replicate the sample.

 

 

After clicking on task 'Replicate Current Sample', you can enter the information regarding replications and then click on to move to next step.

 

 

 

Enter the field IDs and cultivar and then click on to go to next step.

 

 

Click on icon to replicate the sample. After replication it will go to sample set.
